Licenses and attribution
The source and software register records the reproducible data seed, map assets, browser renderer and local visual assets used by this build. It is maintained in the repository at docs/source-license-register.md.
Map data and rendering
Relief maps and boundary data are derived from Natural Earth data, including Natural Earth II 1:50m Shaded Relief and Water v3.2.0 and selected Admin 0 country boundaries. Natural Earth makes these data available in the public domain; credit is retained for transparency. Interactive map rendering uses MapLibre GL JS 6.5.0 under the BSD 3-Clause license.
Map boundaries and names are provided for geographic orientation and do not express a position on legal status, sovereignty or boundary claims. Detailed map-asset provenance is available in /maps/LICENSES.md.
Holiday-data baseline and official sources
The reproducible computational baseline uses Vacanza Holidays / Python package “holidays” version 0.102 under its MIT license. It is a seed and never enough by itself to make a holiday Verified. Each immutable release records the generator and source lineage; official sources remain governed by their publishers’ own terms and are used for factual verification and attribution rather than reproduced in full.
No hosted holiday API is used. A source lead, library output or unreviewed rule remains provisional until the release’s stated evidence and human-review gates are met.
Software, icons and fonts
DayOffMap uses Astro and project code to build the static site, and MapLibre GL JS for the optional browser map. Project interface icons are inline SVG or Unicode characters; no third-party icon pack is loaded. Typography uses the visitor’s system font stack and no third-party web-font request is made.
Dependency and license details are recorded in the source and software register. This notice does not replace the full text of third-party licenses, which remain available from their respective licensors.
